Microneedling & RF Microneedling
Two ways to rebuild collagen from within. Traditional microneedling for texture, pores, fine lines and acne scars; RF microneedling adds radiofrequency energy for tightening and deeper scars. Suitable for all skin types.
The treatment
What it is
Traditional microneedling creates thousands of tiny, sterile micro-channels in the skin, which triggers the skin's own repair response and lets hydra facial and growth factor serums reach where they work. RF microneedling adds radiofrequency energy, delivered through the needles into the deeper layers, so heat-driven tightening joins the collagen response and acne scars and texture are treated more deeply. The Brighten & Tighten combo pairs traditional microneedling with dermaplaning in one visit.
How it works
Numbing cream is applied first for comfort. For traditional microneedling, the face and neck are treated in passes and finished with serums. For RF microneedling, the handpiece treats the area with the depth and energy set for your skin and your goals. Which one, and in what order, is decided at your Aesthetic Strategy Session with imaging in hand.
Results and recovery
Mild redness and swelling that settles within hours to a day or two, then improvement that builds over the following weeks as new collagen forms. Texture, pore size, fine lines and acne scars respond best to a series, usually three sessions several weeks apart. 3-session packages of RF microneedling are 20% off.
Good to know
Which should I choose, traditional or RF?
Traditional microneedling is the right start for texture, pores, fine lines and mild scarring. RF microneedling goes deeper and adds tightening, so it suits laxity, deeper acne scars and skin that needs more lift. The Aesthetic Strategy Session settles it.
Does it hurt?
Numbing cream is applied first. Most clients describe traditional microneedling as a light scratching sensation and RF microneedling as brief warmth with each pass.
How many sessions will I need?
A series of three is typical, spaced several weeks apart. Your consultation sets the number and the spacing.
Is it safe for darker skin tones?
Both are suitable for all skin types; your consultation confirms the settings for yours.
Can I combine it with a laser or a peel?
Sometimes. Cass plans combinations one at a time, with the right spacing, inside your Aesthetic Strategy Plan.
